Earrings or Superhero Weapon?

So, I have a new set of earrings I made yesterday.  They are very long with deep, rich hues.  Funky.  My pre-3 cup of coffee brain has an image of a girl with attitude walking down a city street in her little black dress with these earrings.. And when some hoodlum pops out of a corner alley & attempts to mug her, she brandishes one of these earrings & said hoodlum runs away calling for his Mommy.  I wonder if these earring will get through security at an airport?  Time for coffee.  I will post pictures of said earrings/superhero weapon later today.  Stay tuned...
